- Maine Businesses for Social Responsibility (MEBSR)
- MEBSR promotes the belief of a dual bottom line of profitability and social responsibility. IEA is an active member and sits on the MEBSR Advisory Panel.
- American Lung Association
- IEA employees participate in the annual 175 mile, three day bike Trek-Across-Maine to raise money for American Lung Association of Maine
- United Way
- IEA is an annual contributor to United Way through contributions and employee volunteers.
- Prebble Street Soup Kitchen
- Employees and their families volunteer to serve meals to those less fortunate in the community.
- Red Cross Blood Drive
- IEA supports the Red Cross through annual blood drives.
